15-Year-Old Charged Following Southampton Altercation

A 15-year-old male has faced charges following a confrontation in Southampton on Tuesday, which reportedly involved the use of weapons such as poles and hammers. Authorities responded to North East Road subsequent to reports of an individual being struck by a vehicle. Subsequently, two men, one in his twenties and another in his fifties, were discovered to have sustained minor injuries. The youth, who resides in Southampton, has been formally accused of attempted kidnap, two counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and affray. He is currently being held in police custody and is scheduled to appear before the city’s magistrates’ court on Monday.
