A £110,000 initiative to enhance roads in Anlaby is poised to commence. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council announced that resurfacing work would be carried out in the vicinity of the B1231 Springfield Way roundabout. This project is slated to begin on November 25th and will be conducted nightly from 18:00 to 23:00 GMT over a period of five nights. Officials confirmed that a clearly marked diversion route would be operational during these hours. Councillor Paul West, the council’s cabinet member for environment and transport, stated: “These improvements are crucial for ensuring the safety and longevity of the road, providing a smoother and more durable surface for all drivers.“We want to thank all drivers and local residents for their patience while we carry out this work.”We would advise motorists to follow the diversion signs and plan their journeys to avoid any inconvenience,” he added.
